Employees received an alert from the UCPath Center advising of employee records and contingent worker records with an "Expected Job End Date" of March 31, 2025.

To avoid unintended impacts, employees are asked to review job records with upcoming end dates and determine the required action by March 31. 

A special protocol is required for submitting off-cycle pay requests near quarter-end for monthly paid employees to ensure wages are captured accurately in UCPath for requests that span two quarters. 

Starting March 1, 2025, UC will conduct eligibility reverification of some enrolled family members.

UCPath identified an issue where Vacation Leave Assessment (VLA) reversal was not generated for Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) on paychecks created between July 14, 2024 and November 25, 2024.

UCPath updated its automated phone system, ensuring more efficient and accessible automated service 24/7. These enhancements improve responsiveness, streamline interactions and provide more options to meet employees’ needs any time.

On February 11, UCPath notified eligible nonresident aliens regarding Tax Treaty Income and/or Postdoc Fellowship income. 

Current and former employees are now able to access their 2024 W-2 form online via UCPath. Online forms will also be available to employees who requested to receive a paper form. 

On Tuesday, January 21, UCPath will implement enhancements to the customer phone support experience using Conversational AI.

The UCPath Center discovered a Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) processing issue which resulted in incorrect deductions recorded on location journals.
