UCPath Enhancements & Training Updates for September 28 – October 18

Exciting news! UCPath recently launched an update to the Person Organizational Summary page, which allows provisioned UCPath users to view an individual's UC Employee or Contingent Worker assignments. 

On October 1, 2024, UCPath will release an enhancement to Personal Organizational Summary that will make future job data rows visible. This update will reduce errors, streamline workload and make processes smoother across the UC system, especially when managing concurrent hires.

Adjustment requests for overpayments occurring January 1 through October 1, 2024, must be submitted by October 18, 2024.

UCPC provides guidance on an annual basis for payroll adjustment requests that must be processed by the end of the current calendar year. 

We recently received further guidance from University of California Office of the President (UCOP) and Office of the General Council (OGC) that new I-9 forms will also be required for Emeriti that were previously hired in appointments with pay. 

 

Due to a technical error, UCPath has requested that work-study SCT transactions on reversal checks be paused through September 30, 2024. 

The deadline for employees to sign the Payroll Data NDA was extended to Friday, 8/30/24.

In an effort to better align with the UCLA Gender Recognition and Lived Name Policy, some CRU case submission forms were updated with new Employee Preferred Name fields. 

A recent UCOP statement informed the community that that several UC employees were recent victims of phishing emails. Learn more about how to protect yourself. 

June 8 - July 19, 2024. Find out about recent enhancements to UCPath and UCPath Online. 

Employees with existing access to payroll data (in UCPath or otherwise) must electronically sign the new version of the NDA agreement by Friday, August 16, 2024 in order to retain their access.

Communications related to the 2024-2025 FYE funding rollover process. 

A special protocol is required for submitting off-cycle pay requests for bi-weekly paid employees near quarter end (June 26 - July 1).
