Browser Updates
- Bookmarks: As a result of the UCPath interface modernization, there will be backend URL changes to UCPath pages. Please be prepared to manually update your browser bookmarks for specific UCPath pages post go-live. The main UCPath access URL and login steps will not change. The UCPath login page formatting, however, has been slightly modified for accessibility purposes.
- Enable Pop-Ups: Ensure pop-ups are enabled for UCPath on your browser. The new interface utilizes the pop-up feature for various UCPath pages and functions.
- Clear Cache: Once the changes have gone live on July 14, please clear your browser's cache to ensure a smooth experience.
Provide Pending Employee Details
The new guided employee onboarding process requires all employees to record certain information in UCPath, including Self-Identification Details. If you haven't provided this information yet, you'll be prompted to do so upon logging into UCPath on July 14. Employees will still have the option to select "Decline to State" as a submission. The questionnaire can't be bypassed and UCPath functions will be locked until a submission is recorded.
Observe UCPath Outages
Please observe eForm deadlines and freezes while the UCPath system is unavailable from July 11-14, 2025. The ODS Batch schedule will also experience and interruption this weekend and resume on the morning of July 15, 2025.
The UCPath interface is being modernized – same functionality, new look and feel!
Key Updates
- The previous left-hand menu will be replaced with a streamlined top navigation bar with updated subpages, including new manager and transactor hubs.
- An updated Home/Landing page will improve accessibility for common UCPath self-service features such as pay and leave balance summaries. The Alerts & Notices section will display important UCPath news, front and center!
- The new layout will offer improved functionality across device types, from desktop to mobile.

UCPath's updated site header ensures you can search for resources with ease, no matter where you are on the site!
- Search Icon: Select the Search Icon (magnifying glass) to browse UC Support Articles, actions, and resources
- Ask UCPath: Navigate to the Ask UCPath help center with ease.
UCPath's navigation menu is getting a major upgrade! The new top navigation bar has updated categories and subpages.
Selecting the subpage on the navigation bar will open quick-access links for the category. Select View Overview to open the full subpage, if available.
Personal Information
Access your Primary Compensation, Manager Information, & Union Code. Make quick updates to your name and pronouns directly on this page. The Action Needed tile will indicate if any of your personal information is missing.
Income & Taxes
Access your paycheck, direct deposit, and tax information. You can now nickname your direct deposit account(s) for clarity and update your deposit information multiple times per day. You may also generate a Verification of Employment, this summary report contains your first hire date.
Benefits & Retirement
In this updated hub, you can view your enrollment confirmation statements online and submit benefit enrollments via a new activity guide, streamlining employee onboarding. Employees can preview Benefit Statements prior to submission. New/Updated Benefits Statements will be available within 48 hours of changes/enrollment on UCPath and will no longer be emailed. Please note, the Benefits Statement format has been updated. Benefits Life Events options have not changed.
Accruals & Leaves
Review your full absence balances, and access relevant accrual and leave resources and forms. An accrual and leave balance summary is also visible on the UCPath landing page. There are new links to UCnet resources for frequently used leave types. The vacation hours max tracker is still accessible, and new logic provides more accurate leave balance information.
Manager Hub / Transactor Hub
For those with direct reports or transactor access, special hubs will display on the navigation menu. Learn more by reviewing the manager/transactor section below.
Help
The Help menu has options for support based on user type, as well as a link to Ask UCPath.
UCPath's landing/home page is more helpful than ever!
- The new Alerts & Notices section of the landing page allows for multiple notices to be displayed at once, so you'll never miss an important update!
- The Workcenters and Resources block provides access to PeopleSoft Home Page, Worklist, and eForms (Workcenter tab) and UCnet, Job Code lookup, and UC Jobs searches (Resources tab).
- Helpful employee information summaries appear on the landing page, including:
- My Information: A summary of your personal information.
- My Pay: A preview of your most recent paycheck and number of direct deposit accounts with a last updated date.
- My Benefits: A summary of your benefits statement.
- My Leave Balances: A summary of your sick and vacation leave balances. Full leave balances are available on the Accruals & Leaves subpage.
Those with expanded UCPath access can expect new UCPath hubs and updated features that support manager/transactor functions.

- New Transactor and Manager Hubs are accessible in the top navigation menu and consolidate UCPath resources and functions for these users.
- Employees must complete an Onboarding Activity Guide to record their information prior to accessing UCPath site features.

Transactors experience expanded search functionality on the UCPath site header.
- Self Service Search: Select Self-Service Search to obtain help articles and filter options.
- Search Icon: Select the Search Icon (magnifying glass) to browse UCPath pages and transactor actions.
The House Icon on the site header provides quick access to the Peoplesoft landing page.
Transactors will have access to a new Transactor Hub in the UCPath top navigation menu, which consolidates their tools in one place. Resources are organized by topic (HR Forms, Payroll Forms, Benefit & Payroll Resources).
As an update, transactor only eForms appear in the Transactor Hub menu. Transactors may view in-progress forms by selecting “View and Update eForms” in the Workcenter Block on the Home page.
Employees with direct reports will have access to a new Manager Hub in the UCPath top navigation menu. The new Manager Hub provides a centralized view for managers to access team information quickly.
- View Employee Information: See all direct reports and select a specific employee for more details. Ensure the correct acting role is selected to view your direct reports.
- Team Profiles: View or enter Honors and Awards, Licenses and Certifications, and Education for employees.
- View Compensation History: Easily view an employee's compensation history, including Reason for Compensation change and Action that generated the change.
- Employee Absence Balances: Help employees keep track of their leave and absence balances and view service months.
Managers can view the Performance and Recruiting Workcenters and related eForms by accessing the Workcenter block on the Home page.
A new Employee Onboarding Activity Guide in UCPath aids employees in providing information (Race & Ethnicity, Veteran Status, Disability Status, and Self-Identification Details). This activity guide cannot be bypassed and must be completed by all employees. If an existing employee is missing this information, they will be prompted with the activity guide upon logging in post July 14.
Employees may select "Decline to State" as a submission option, but they must record a response in UCPath to access UCPath functions.
UCPath Video Guides
The Peoplesoft Update Manager (PUM) will be upgraded to from Image 47 to Image 49, featuring improvements to search functionality.
Key Changes
- Search Improvements: UCPath now uses OpenSearch with clearer page titles, making it easier to find what you need.
- Denied Transactions: Denied Manage Human Resources transactions are now viewable in the Organizational Relationship section of UCPath.
- View History Button: Users can toggle between current and historical job data directly from search results by using the “View History” button. Previously, users needed to select “Include History” before searching.
- Slider Design: The slider design for indicating yes or no on eForms has changed. Sliders no longer include text; a check box indicates yes.
- Notifications: The messaging interface for Notifications has been updated.
The PUM 49 update will include changes to PS_NAMES columns for ODS batch files. On July 15, 2025, the following columns will be added to tables PS_NAMES_SEC and PS_NAMES in ODS Production:

Note: ODS batch files will be delayed this weekend due to the update. The final batch will take place on the morning of Saturday, July 12, 2025. The batch will then resume on the morning of Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
