PayPath Lockdown
BW: May 16-19
To avoid delays in payroll processing, the UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages from Tuesday, May 16, 5PM, through Friday, May 19, 6AM.
Refer to the UCPath Production Processing Schedule for start and stop times of the Pay Confirm.

Tracker I-9 has updated the Section 2 user interface as part of their March 2023 system update release.

Student Employment Verification
Effective April 27, The Work Number will provide employment verifications for all UC employees including students. Previously, the UCPath Center (UCPC) verified employment and income upon request from student employees. UCPC notified 11,465 UCLA student associates and provided instructions to opt out of the service.

July Retirements and Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA)
To ensure employees who are retiring on July 1, 2023, receive a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), they must be terminated and have at least a one-day break in service.
- Use the UC-Retirement Template with an effective date of 6/30/23 to separate these employees.
- Their last day on pay status should be 6/29/23, resulting in a break in service on 6/30/23.

Duplicate Union Deductions
The UCPath Center (UCPC) identified a system issue where some flat-rate union dues deductions are duplicated when an employee is paid on multiple pay cycles. UCPC is working diligently to resolve the issue. Unless explicitly requested by UCPC, do not submit cases related to this issue.
