UCPath introduced a rolling 5-year data filter for global case searches in Ask UCPath. To access cases beyond the 5-year window, users will need to use the new Historical Cases data filter. 

The Direct Retro tool will be retired in the near future. The last day to submit and approve transactions through Direct Retro will be July 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. (PDT).  
 

In April 2025, UCPath contacted 6,000+ UC employees regarding the UC Benefits Family Member Eligibility Reverification process with third party vendor, UnifyHR. 

Through November 2025, UC will continue efforts to confirm the continuing eligibility of some previously verified family members.

Starting March 1, 2025, UC will conduct eligibility reverification of some enrolled family members.

UCPath identified an issue where Vacation Leave Assessment (VLA) reversal was not generated for Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) on paychecks created between July 14, 2024 and November 25, 2024.

On February 11, UCPath notified eligible nonresident aliens regarding Tax Treaty Income and/or Postdoc Fellowship income. 

Current and former employees are now able to access their 2024 W-2 form online via UCPath. Online forms will also be available to employees who requested to receive a paper form. 

The UCPath Center discovered a Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) processing issue which resulted in incorrect deductions recorded on location journals.
