In April 2025, UCPath contacted 6,000+ UC employees regarding the UC Benefits Family Member Eligibility Reverification process with third party vendor, UnifyHR.
Through November 2025, UC will continue efforts to confirm the continuing eligibility of some previously verified family members.
Starting March 1, 2025, UC will conduct eligibility reverification of some enrolled family members.
UCPath identified an issue where Vacation Leave Assessment (VLA) reversal was not generated for Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) on paychecks created between July 14, 2024 and November 25, 2024.
Current and former employees are now able to access their 2024 W-2 form online via UCPath. Online forms will also be available to employees who requested to receive a paper form.

We recently received further guidance from University of California Office of the President (UCOP) and Office of the General Council (OGC) that new I-9 forms will also be required for Emeriti that were previously hired in appointments with pay.
