UCPath Notice: Ask UCPath Case Search Update

On May 12, 2025, we received the following alert from the UCPath Center regarding the Ask UCPath Case Search feature:

What's Changed

UCPath implemented a change to the Ask UCPath case management interface. This update improves system performance and ensures continued access to case history while supporting long-term platform scalability.

To manage growing case volume (currently nearing 2 million cases), UCPath introduced a rolling 5-year data filter for global case searches in Ask UCPath. This reduces load times and enhances the search experience for active or recent cases.

Vendor-submitted cases remain fully accessible and are not affected by this update.

Historical Case Data Filter 

To access cases beyond the 5-year window, users will need to perform a historical search that ensures continued availability of legacy case information when needed.
To view historical cases:

  1. Navigate to Ask UCPath
  2. Select Other Resources > Historical Cases from the menu
  3. Enter Employee Name or Employee ID to retrieve associated cases that were closed beyond the 5-year timeframe
