RESOLVED: Concurrent Hire Transactions Erroneously Initiating New Tracker Profiles and I-9s
The UCPath error causing concurrent hire transactions to erroneously initiate new Tracker profiles and I-9s has been resolved. Departments should continue to review Tracker for impacted records.

Tracker I-9 Purge Status
In the Tracker system, terminated employee I-9s have a Purge status. It is the responsibility of departments to:
- Verify the validity of this status and
- Request an I-9 be officially purged once the purge date requirement is met.

New leave types were created in UCPath for the Unit 18 Pay for Family Care and Bonding (PFCB) pay option that took effect July 1.

Cognos Systemwide Reporting Issue
On July 14, the UCPath Center notified campus that the Cognos systemwide reporting solution is experiencing intermittent system issues and users may receive the following message:
This page isn’t working. If the problem continues, contact the site owner. HTTP ERROR 405.

To avoid delays in payroll processing, the UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing from Friday, July 22, 5PM, through Friday, July 29, 6AM.
Refer to the UCPath Production Processing Schedule for start and stop times of the Pay Confirm.

Direct Retro Processing Schedule 2022-2023
The UCPath Center recently updated the Direct Retro Processing Schedule. This schedule outlines when direct retros must be approved in order to be picked up and posted to the Labor Ledger. It also identifies when you can expect to see the approved direct retros in the Labor Ledger and, subsequently, in the General Ledger.
July 2022 through September 2022 dates are now available in this knowledge base article.

I-9 Processing Procedures
Jul 28-29, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
As a reminder, we offer an I-9 Processing Procedures class to help users understand the procedures for completing the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9 Form). This class is valuable to employees with new responsibilities in this area, but it can also be used as a refresher for veterans.
Note: You must attend both days of class to receive Tracker I-9 system access.
