To avoid delays in payroll processing, UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing from Tuesday, June 14, 5PM, through Friday, Jun 17, 6AM.

Job Record End Date Monitoring
Quarterly Reminder - June 2022
As of May 31, there are over 14,400 UCLA employee records with an “Expected Job End Date” on June 30, 2022. Monitor and ensure your department's records are up to date to avoid unintended job terminations or overpayments.

New Resources for Automatic Employment Authorization Document (EAD) Extensions
As previously announced, the Department of Homeland Security published a temporary final rule that increases the automatic extension period to up to 540 days for employment authorization for certain applicants who have filed renewal applications. On June 2, we published two new resources in our knowledge base:
Tracker I-9 Report
A new custom Tracker I-9 report has been created to assist in identifying employees who may require the additional extension period.

I-9 Processing Procedures
Jun 16-17, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
As a reminder, we offer an I-9 Processing Procedures class to help users understand the procedures for completing the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9 Form). This class is valuable to employees with new responsibilities in this area, but it can also be used as a refresher for veterans.
Note: Before we can grant access to the I-9 Tracker system, you must attend class on both days.

Telephone Service Transition - Delayed
Due to performance issues that surfaced during testing, the UCPath Center (UCPC) has delayed the May 25 transition to a new phone service provider. These issues will be fully resolved before announcing a new transition timeline. If you have questions, UCPC provided contact information in the transition announcement.
