Quarterly Reminder - December 2024
To UCPath Initiators and Approvers:
Your department may have employees with an Expected Job Record End Date of December 31, 2024.
Currently, there are over 20,000 UC employees with UCPath job records set to auto-terminate on this date. Erroneous terminations can have pay, benefit, and I-9 impacts.
What Your Department Needs to Do
In order to avoid unintended job terminations, we recommend:
- Running the “Jobs with Approaching End Dates” CDW report (CDW navigation: Team Content > UCPath CDW > Workforce Administration > Jobs with Approaching End Dates Report).
- Reviewing the pulled records to ensure the December 31, 2024, Expected Job Record End Dates are correct.
- If errors are identified, initiate the appropriate transaction(s) to update the records (see “Job Record End Date Monitoring” article in our knowledge base for instructions).
Note: If you do not handle these transactions for your department, please forward this notice to the responsible party.
When Should This Happen
- By Friday, December 13: review and update employee records.
If you are not extending or removing the Expected Job Record End Date but need to make other updates, consult the production processing schedule for deadline information.
