UCPath Updates: Improve Final Pay

UCPath Updates

Your Next Path

In just one week, the UCPath final pay process will become more streamlined!

Launching December 5

Issuing a terminated employee’s final pay is completely manual and requires significant coordination between you and the UCPath Center (UCPC).

The Improve Final Pay project increases the accuracy and efficiency of these requests via a two-phased approach.

Phase 1

  • New Data Fields: Tired of copying and pasting the comments template into your final pay requests? Updated fields eliminate this step entirely, meaning you can finally dedicate the Initiator Comments box to just that — your important comments!
  • Deductions Tab: The Deductions tab will now be displayed for all users. It is used to collect outstanding balances for employees who were issued a payment using the Emergency Pay or Instant Pay deduction codes.

NOTE: UCLA does not use these codes, so this tab should be left blank.

How Can I Prepare?

Phase 1 brings with it powerful yet minimal changes, so don’t stress about preparing!

Check out our Improve Final Pay project page for resources and additional information, including details on Phase 2. Stay tuned for real-time updates.
