UCPath's next project release is coming this weekend!
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, UCPath will launch the following initiatives:
- Improve Accrual Management Phase I: The Improve Accrual Management project improves how UCPath calculates, validates, and corrects leave balances. Theses updates are backend improvements with no user-facing process changes or department action items.
- Final Pay Pilot: The Final Pay Pilot intends to improve the accuracy and speed of processing final pay for separating employees. Final Pay transactions for pilot participants, which are limited to the UCLA Health Human Resources Service Center only, will be processed through a new Final Pay Activity Guide.
- As part of this update, a new Accrual Payout Request reason code will appear for all users accessing the Off- Cycle Request Form (E- 078). Non-pilot departments (including all UCLA campus departments) should not utilize the new reason code to payout accruals associated with Final Pay, and instead continue using the "Payout Accruals" checkbox, as they do now.

UCPath will be unavailable from 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 through 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 8 (PT) while these projects are moved to production.
