PayPath Lockdown

BW: Feb 7-10

To avoid delays in payroll processing, the UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages from Tuesday, February 7, 5PM, through Friday, February 10, 6AM.

Refer to the UCPath Production Processing Schedule for start and stop times of the Pay Confirm.

UCPath Outage: Planned System Maintenance

UCPath will be unavailable to all UC employees on Sunday, February 12, 12AM to 2PM while UCPath implements critical tax and security updates.

Complete by February 15

If applicable, refresh your status to claim exemption from withholding

The IRS requires employees to complete a new W-4 form each year if they are claiming exemption from tax withholding. Many employees are unaware of this requirement until their net pay is reduced by additional tax withholding in the new year. Please help your employees avoid this scenario by following the steps below:

What can you do?

  1. Run a CDW report to identify employees who claimed exemption from tax withholding in 2022. In CDW, search for Employees Claiming Tax Exemptions and then run it for your department.
  2. Remind your employees to log in to UCPath Online and make their selection by February 15.

Incorrect Vacation Accruals

The UCPath Center identified an issue affecting vacation accrual balances for some employees. Certain accrual transactions (e.g., Comp Time Accrued, Comp Time Payout) were not processed for the biweekly pay period ending 1/21/2023. 

  • UCPath is working diligently to resolve this issue. Do not submit cases to adjust these accruals with the following earn codes:

Ask UCPath Service Disruption Resolved

On February 6, the UCPath Center (UCPC) resolved the issue that temporarily prevented users from submitting inquiries to UCPC. If you continue experiencing difficulty with the Ask UCPath feature, call UCPC at (855) 982-7284 to speak with an associate M-F between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
