On January 6, we received the following alert from the UCPath Center (UCPC):
Effective Friday, January 6, 2023, payroll transactors may submit adjustments to UCPath I-181 regular time files for earnings older than two years without receiving hard-stop errors. Instead, transactors will receive a warning message when earnings adjustments are older than two years, “Warning: Time taken 2 years prior to the Pay Begin Date of the current Pay Cycle.”
The warning message applies to I-181 regular time entry files submitted via mass file transfer and self-service file loads. The enhancement allows UCPath to process I-181 adjustment files for earnings more than two years old.
Previously, payroll transactors had to submit a case for manual adjustments of changes to earnings more than two years prior.
This change streamlines the I-181 submission process and reduces manual workload. Please share this notice with payroll transactors throughout your location.
Thank you,
UCPath
