January Release Summary

UCPath is planning to implement the changes below in the January release. These changes will be visible on Friday, February 1, 2023.

NOTE: THIS LIST DOES NOT INCLUDE CHANGES OR DEFECTS RESOLVED PRIOR TO January 23, 2023.

Benefits

Summary

For a few impacted employees, correcting information for service credit, salary, and job code on the UCRS (I-146)

Updating the overage event mail notification template to include expiration of current disabled dependents certification and to change “Discovery Benefits” to “WEX Health”

Removing obsolete content from the self-service health savings account page

Updating the benefits table to allow postdoc employees to enroll in the Health Net PPO medical plan

Updating the ACA employee eligibility page to ensure the top row effective date and sequence matches the top row on the ACA evaluation calc details page when manually updated.

Payroll & Compensation

Summary

Adding 2023 quarter-end off-cycle calendars

Informing employees their W-2 statement is available

Updating I-303 employee bank information batch to send inactive employees only once on the file after termination

UCPath Portal

Summary

Resolving an issue of locality data missing from the out of state income tax withholding form after it is approved

Resolving the error generated when approving an out of state income tax withholding form.

Workforce Administration

Summary

Resolving an issue with the E-083 program failing to move limited employees to career

Implementing a 6% across-the-board wage increase effective January 2023 for the NX bargaining unit

Implementing a 2% increase  across-the-board wage increase for accreted behavioral health & optometrist classifications effective January 2023 for the HX bargaining unit

Eliminating old salary grades as an option when updating employee positions

Updating the position control form (E-804) to allow for more than one security clearance type

Updating the values in the special training code table to better align with legal and policy requirements and improve the use of the fields in the assignment of training
