September Release Summary

UCPath is planning to implement the changes below in the September release. These changes will be visible on Friday, September 30, 2022.

Note: this list does not include changes or defects resolved prior to September 25, 2022.

Absence Management

Summary

Applying a fix to resolve workers compensation accruals discrepancy

Updating code to allow leave balances to carry over into the next calendar year when an employee returns from unpaid leave

Updating the accrual program to not prorate the maximum vacation accrual based on full time equivalency

Fixing the additional PTO override to not remove updates made

Summary

Removing an error on the accidental death and dismemberment benefits self-service page

Payroll & Compensation

Summary

Updating the Smart HR template to restrict editing the earnings code and percent of distribution fields unless the job earnings distribution type is set to "by percent"

Updating the UC_TAX_DATA page to show the correct tax data income code and FICA status

Applying a fix to restrict non academic employee ids to the UC_TRANSFER templates and academic employee ids to the UC_TRANSFER_AC template*

Updating the concurrent hire template to allow a hire with a subsequent employee record to be processed prior to the effective date of the first employee record*

Establishing the adoption assistance (AAS) earning code and its corresponding dependent earning codes.

Correcting the derived SSN assignment process (E-334) so it only assigns numbers according to the ‘998’ prefix in the table configuration
