November Release Summary

UCPath is planning to implement the changes below in the November release. These changes will be visible on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Note: this list does not include changes or defects resolved prior to November 25, 2022.

Absence Management

Summary

Updating the accrual program to allow an employee on unpaid military leave to receive accruals for vacation, sick and service credit

Determining the root cause of manage accrual process failure when processing medical resident term vacation (MTV) transactions

Resolving the issue of sick leave reinstatement rules not applying when employees are rehired in a different year

Resolving the issue causing submitted usage to be rejected on I-181 for an invalid absence element

Restricting UCPath to allow only one vacation payout transaction when there are multiple transactions with the same beginning earning date

Reviewing the cause of the missing biweekly accrual flag during calculation

Setting up the absence management 2023 and 2024 leave accrual calendar

Extending paycheck modeler to location payroll directors

Updating the paysheet creation (I-621) program to allow deductions with a '%' to load to paysheets.

Adding fields to the payroll requests (E-078) final pay page to enable locations to populate the essential data versus grouping all the information into the comment field

Developing custom program to inactivate employee direct deposit accounts, general deductions and recurring additional pay after employee terminates

Updating the pay requests page (E-078) to not require accrual hours when locations submit final pay requests to pay out accruals to terminated employees

 Workforce Administration

Summary

Updating the salary grade and step rate with the 2022-23 academic salary program

Retiring E-101 PayPath Landing page following implementation of Improved Navigation

Fixing the issue where position changes were not correctly updating job data

Providing a 6% across-the-board range increase retroactive to July 2022 for the covered CX bargaining unit

Updating the I-254 union roster file to add the cubicle field and increase the mobile phone character length to allow for 20 characters of additional data, such as country code

Correcting the Excel to CI structure for the custom UC Job Data page to update correctly when mass changes are processed
