March Release Summary

UCPath is planning to implement the changes below in the March release. These changes will be visible on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Absence Management

Summary

Adding the unit 18 Pay for Family Care and Bonding elements to the UCLA Geffen Academy K-12 Instructors (ACGEFFEN) eligibility group

Determining the root cause and resolving the issue of manage accrual process failures when processing medical resident term vacation (MTV) transactions

Fixing program to not reduce an employee's vacation balance when they are at the max and have subsequent jobs

Fixing the paid time off donations that were not processing for biweekly employees

Updating the accrual program to allow an employee on unpaid military leave to receive accruals for vacation, sick and service credit

Summary

Modifying the Fidelity inbound files for a daily receipt of voluntary employee contributions/deductions to the 457(b) plan

Updating language on UCPath online to clarify steps for adding a dependent

Simplifying the calculation of percent time worked for the retirement deductions to UCRS (I-146) process

General Ledger

Summary

Restricting users from entering capped/sponsored funds against the over-the-cap (Y-OTC) rows in the preview page

Resolving the excess over-the-cap line from being charged to the contract and grants fund block

Workforce Administration

Summary

Creating a new action reason code to capture cubicle/room/suite changes

Defaulting the position management section with the add/update information page instead of position history

Implementing functionality to not allow users to delete HR Smart templates

Adding the “Terminated with Pay” status to the auto termination process.
