July Release Summary
On July 10, we received the following notice from the UCPath Center.
UCPath has completed the July 2023 release, and the system is now available. Please clear your browser's cache before logging into UCPath.
The July release includes the following UCPath enhancements:
Improved ACA Notifications
New functionality automates employee ACA notifications about initial and standard measurement periods for eligibility changes, improving ACA efficiency and compliance.
Automated Evidence of Insurability (EOI) form
End-to-end automation streamlines the employee life insurance verification process, ensuring that employees receive EOI forms from Prudential sooner. The vendor will send approval decisions to UCPath to improve enrollment and coverage updates.
Decommission E-Ledger
An update to the Endowments, Investments and Retirement Plan (I-128) interface supports UCOP's transition to Oracle Cloud Financials eLedger.
These modifications improve transmission of systemwide UCPath data to the UCOP financial system. Additionally, the update will ensure financial data transmissions comply with the new systemwide common chart of accounts (CCOA) structure.
Support UC Riverside's Oracle Cloud Financials Rollout
UCPath will implement updates to support UCR's transition to the Oracle Cloud Financials system. The update will ensure financial data transmissions align with the new systemwide common chart of accounts (CCOA) structure.
Replace Online Title Code System
The new Job Code Lookup System site will replace the current Title Code Web Inquiry System (TCS) site. The new site will provide salary plan, grade table/salary range information and job code details.
The upgraded website improves data accuracy, adheres to accessibility guidelines and provides a user-friendly interface for mobile and tablet devices.
Implementation Reminders
- The go/no-go decision for each project may impact implementation. UCPath will share additional updates when available.
- UCPath's general ledger (GL) will be unavailable from Saturday, July 8, 7:00 a.m. to Monday, July 10, 7:00 a.m., to support the implementation of UCR's Oracle Cloud Financials changes.
