The following message was distributed to employees with existing access to payroll data on Wednesday, July 17, 2024:
An NDA requirement was introduced last year to protect sensitive information that is accessible to users with payroll data access. You may be accessing payroll data through your role UCPath, or other downstream systems and reports.
The Payroll Data NDA was recently updated and, as a result, existing users must electronically sign the new version of the agreement by Friday, August 16, 2024 in order to retain their access.
You're receiving this message because you are required to electronically sign the Payroll Data NDA no later than Friday, August 16, 2024. A digital copy will be kept on file with our department.
Note: We will be contacting department CAO/CFOs with a list of users who are at risk of losing access because they failed to sign the NDA by the deadline.
The updated NDA includes a clause that states the agreement remains valid regardless of changes to the signee's roles and responsibilities or separation from the University.
After this year, users will no longer have to resign the NDA annually (unless there is a significant update to the agreement).
Note: There are no changes to the process for DSAs provisioning new access to payroll data. While the agreement has been updated to the latest version, the DocuSign NDA link that is shared with new employees has not changed.
