Job Record End Date Monitoring: Quarterly Reminder

As of August 21, UCLA has more than 3,300 UCPath jobs with an end date of September 30, 2023. In order to avoid unintended job terminations, we recommend doing the following by September 15:

Run the “Jobs with Approaching End Dates” CDW report (CDW navigation: Team Content > UCPath CDW > Workforce Administration > Jobs with Approaching End Dates Report).
Review the pulled records to ensure the September 30, 2023, Expected Job Record End Dates are correct.

If errors are identified, initiate the appropriate transaction(s) to update the records (see “Job Record End Date Monitoring” knowledge base article for instruction

Direct Retro Processing Schedule 2023-2024

UCPath recently updated the Direct Retro Processing Schedule. This schedule outlines when direct retros must be approved in order to be picked up and posted to the Labor Ledger. It also identifies when you can expect to see the approved direct retros in the Labor Ledger and, subsequently, in the General Ledger.

Job Code System Link Update

Effective August 14, 2023, the new Job Code Lookup System site is accessible from the original link for the Title Code Web Inquiry System (TCS) site. The upgraded website improves data accuracy, adheres to accessibility guidelines and provides a user-friendly interface for mobile and tablet devices.

Tracker I-9 Training Certification

Paused: August 22 - September 8

Training completion certifications will be on hold starting Tuesday, August 22, through Friday, September 8, while the Tracker Training Instructor is out of the office. You may continue submitting certification requests; however, all submissions will not be reviewed until the instructor returns on Monday, September 11.

Certification requests will be reviewed in the order received and there may be a slight delay depending on the number of requests received. Reply to your case submission email with questions regarding the status of your review.
For new training enrollments after August 21, there may be a delay in training environment provisioning. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

UCLA Tracker Administrator Office Hours

Cancelled: August 23 - September 6

Tracker office hours will be cancelled on August 23, August 30, and September 6. Normal office hours will resume on Wednesday, September 13, 2:00pm - 3:00 p.m.

Labor Day | CRU Office Closed September 4

On Monday, September 4, 2023, your CRU/UCLA Payroll Partner Office will close to observe the university holiday.
