July Monthly Release Summary

UCPath is planning to implement the changes below in the July monthly release. These changes will be visible on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

NOTE: This list does not include changes or defects resolved prior to July 17, 2023.

Absence Management

Summary

Resolving an absence management issue that was not prorating the vacation maximum when an employee has a secondary reduction in FTE 

Updating the accrual program to allow an employee on unpaid military leave to receive accruals for vacation, sick and service credit

Benefits

Summary

Updating the benefits eForm to include options for medical residents and graduate students to enroll in flexible spending accounts

Adding a “Roth contribution feature” to both the 403(b) and 457(b)

Allowing Postdoctoral employees who missed their period of initial eligibility enrollment to use eForms to submit their enrollments/modifications/cancellations

Adding eligible postdoctoral employees to the weekly COBRA files sent to WEX

Creating a family member eligibility verification file that captures all newly enrolled dependents

Developing eligibility notifications for employees identified as newly eligible for benefits through the Standard Measurement Period (SMP) and through the Initial Measurement Period (IMP) and for employees whose benefits eligibility and enrollments will terminate at the conclusion of the current ACA stability period

Workforce Administration

Summary

Changing the output of the new hire pilot project audit reports to be distributed per role in Report Manager

Adding the BR bargaining unit jobs to the union roster/change data ( I-254) file to allow the disclosure of personal contact information to unions

Resolving an issue preventing EmplIDs from carrying consistently from the Person Org Summary page to the Job Data page

Removing the expected job end date from a new job row when an employee moves from a job with an end date to a job without an end date

Modifying the personal data change template to include persons of interest (POI)
