On June 17, the UCPath Center notified employees at the following locations regarding a refund:
- UCLA Campus: 104
- UCLA Medical Center: 602
UCPath has issued a refund in the amount of {{insert amount}} to correct inaccurate retirement contributions from the PTO payout in your November 28, 2018, paycheck. UCPath issued the refund June 15, 2022, separately from any regular pay due this period. You do not need to amend prior tax returns as a result of this refund.
Additionally, you will notice a reduction to your UCRP member account balance within UC Retirement at Your Service (UCRAYS). The decrease reflects the refund of the inaccurate contributions plus the interest applied to the ineligible contributions. Please note that this refund will not change your UCRP monthly/lump sum cash-out retirement benefits, and you will not see a reduction in your UCRP years of service.
