Absence Management

Other Updates & Reminders:

  • Location security administrators are now able to provision their users with the ULSHR_LOCATION_SUPPORT role using the E-808 or the I-165 process. This eliminates the need to open a ServiceNow request for UCPath provisioning.  Contact your local security team if you have any questions.
  • UCPath updated the effective date calendar for enrollments and changes to the Voluntary Retirement Savings plans.
    • Employees and location administrators can access the updated calendars for 2023 and view when their updated deductions will take effect.
    • Navigate to UCPath > Quicklinks > Benefit Resources > Savings Plans Enrollment/Change Effective Dates
  • The forms library is updated with the Payroll Adjustment Form template. Access the template by navigating to UCPath > Forms Library > Payroll.
  • Users can access updated workforce administration materials in UCPath Help. The UCPath help site was updated to reflect the new CRS – Cubicle/Room/Suite Changes reason code in the Workforce Administration (PHCMWFAL270: PayPath Transactions) job aids:
    • Job Aid: PayPath Transactions – Action Codes, Reason Codes, and Descriptions (Staff)
    • Job Aid: PayPath Transactions – Action Codes, Reason Codes, and Descriptions (Academic)

Did you know? 

UCPath works differently for future dated hires

  • Employees with a future dated hire cannot use UCPath to set up direct deposit until their start date
  • Future dated hires are not visible in Job Data until the hire date for locations that have security set up by departments/ORGS (row level security)
