Other Updates & Reminders:

  • As of this morning, there are more than 11,000 UC employee records scheduled to auto-terminate with an "Expected Job End Date" of September 30, 2023.
    • If an employee's job record reaches the "Expected Job End Date" and the "End Job Automatically" box is checked, UCPath will auto-terminate the job of September 30. 2023.
    • To avoid unintended impacts such as termination, pay discrepancies, termination of benefits, system access interruptions or overpayments, please review employee records with expiring job end dates and take the necessary actions today.

Did you know? 

The system will automatically terminate an employee’s job when the “End Job Automatically” checkbox is selected.

  • The system will automatically enter a termination row the night of the expected job end date
  • Benefits will automatically terminate at the end of the month of the job end date
  • Examples:
    • A termination row with an effective date of 10/1 will have benefits terminate on 9/30
    • A termination row with an effective date of 10/2 will have benefits terminate on 10/31
  • If an employee's job is terminated and subsequently updated and extended, benefits will require a manual reinstatements.  No case is needed to reinstate benefits. The Production WFA team will reinstate the benefits when the job is reinstated.
