  • Users can access updated Workforce Administration and Absence Management training material in UCHelp. The UCPath help site was updated to reflect the new following:
    • PHCMABML201: Employee Accrual Adjustments: Updated instructions for FY faculty additional compensation vacation adjustment on the “Accrual and Leave Accrual Service Credit Processing Guide for Locations: Adjustment” job aid
  • Employees can access the following new Employee Self Service training materials in the UCPath self-service help site
  • PHCMPO112: Employee Actions: Benefits Information: Added a new employee benefit category drop-down to include medical resident benefits and postdoctoral scholar benefits to the following simulations for benefits eForms

Did you know?

Newly appointed faculty members may be eligible for a second initial eligibility period (PIE).

  • Faculty members who were recently appointed and did not enroll in their PIE may be eligible for a second PIE.
  • The second PIE begins on either:
    • the first day of classes for the quarter/semester in which the appointment begins or
    • the first day the faculty member arrives on campus, whichever happens first
  • To initiate the second PIE event, a case must be submitted requesting the second PIE to enroll in benefits within 31 days from the effective date (either the first day of classes or the first day the faculty member arrives on campus, whichever occurs first).
    • Open a case using the following Topic/Category/Subject Line
