Did you know?
UCPath defines an adjustment as any change in an employee's pay, which can either increase (positive adjustment) or decrease (negative adjustment) their compensation.
- A reclassification, on the other hand, refers to a change in an employee's job position within HR terminology
- Some locations use the phrase "reclassification of earnings," but UCPath uses the term "Earnings Adjustment" to avoid confusion between HR and Payroll.
