UC Open Enrollment Begins October 30, 2025
Log into UCPath to update your 2026 benefit elections from October 30, 8:00 a.m. through November 21, 5:00 p.m. (PT).
Get Prepared
Beginning October 27, the UC Open Enrollment website will fully launch. Start here to learn more about your Health and Benefit options, plan changes, and how to enroll. This page is organized to help current faculty & staff as well as retirees.
Review Your Current Benefits
- Review any recent changes in your personal or family circumstances so you can be prepared to make updates during Open Enrollment
- Log in to UCPath to review and complete any pending benefit actions before Open Enrollment. You can navigate to Benefits & Retirement > Update My Benefits to check if you have open items
Verify Your Personal and Dependent Information
Review your personal and dependent information to confirm it’s accurate
- Updates to your home, mailing and email addresses can be made on the Personal Information page
- Updates to dependent information can be made by submitting an Update Dependent Info eForm, located under Benefits & Retirement > Forms
In preparation to implement UCPath eForm enhancements, all Benefits eForms will be unavailable October 24-27.
Verify Dependent Coverage
If you received a Family Member Eligibility Verification (FMEV) request from UnifyHR, be sure to complete it for any dependents who still need verification. Dependents who remain unverified will lose coverage and cannot be re-enrolled during Open Enrollment.
