On 9/5/2021, UCPath Center notified us that the planned migration completed successfully. Subsequently, UCPC published a new job aid on Tuesday, September 7:
The Primary Job Derivation (E-024) migration is complete. UCPath is now available and location approvers may resume normal operations.
This migration completes a major overhaul of a custom program that UCPath uses to derive an employee’s primary job, a key driver of benefits eligibility for employees with multiple appointments. Key benefits:
- Reduces need for manual overrides by up to 80%
- Increases visibility to business rules and makes updates easier with configurable page
- Reduces processing time by 75%
- Allows updates via configuration, rather than change request, significantly reducing turnaround time
- Reduces downstream failures and eliminates duplicate primary jobs
- Resolves several defects
UCPath will publish a new job aid September 7: HR Primary Job Derivation Logic Workflow
