On January 13, the UCPath Center sent out the following communication to 59 UCLA Campus and 20 UCLA Medical Center employees who did not receive their New Hire Benefits kits in the mail.

You are currently eligible to enroll in UC’s benefits program. To complete your enrollment, visit UCPath and follow these enrollment instructions.
Note: You have 31 days from your start date to complete your enrollment. If you miss the 31-day deadline, you may be able to enroll either at the next open enrollment period in the fall of 2022 or if you experience a life event (such as marriage, a new baby, etc.). Some plans, such as disability and supplemental life insurance, may require an additional review of your health status if you enroll after your new hire period of initial eligibility.
The following resources can help you choose from the many benefit options available to you and your dependents:
- New Employee Benefits Orientation: Employees can listen to a recorded version or participate in a live webinar to ask questions and learn more about UC’s benefits program. We highly recommend that you attend the new employee benefits orientation before selecting your benefits, as it will provide you with valuable information and resources.
