The UCPath Center (UCPC) identified issues with duplicate United Way donations that were processed during the monthly 220731M0X cycle (PP: 7/1-7/31; Check Date: 8/1).
On August 12, UCPC sent the following message to 1,562 UC employees regarding the duplicate deductions and detailed when employees can expect a refund. This includes:
- 188 UCLA Campus Employees
- 1 UCLA Med Center Employee
UCPath identified one or more voluntary deductions taken from your August 1, 2022, pay. The amount of <insert amount here> will be refunded to you to resolve this issue.
Refunds for the duplicate employee deductions will be issued as follows:
- If the refund amount is $100.00 or greater, you will receive a refund via a separate payment no later than August 24, 2022
- If the refund amount is less than $100.00, you will receive a refund no later than September 1, 2022, in your scheduled paycheck or direct deposit
