February Release Summary

UCPath is planning to implement the changes below in the February release. These changes will be visible on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

NOTE: THIS LIST DOES NOT INCLUDE CHANGES OR DEFECTS RESOLVED PRIOR TO FEBRUARY 21, 2023.

Absence Management

Summary

Correcting an inaccurate set up of vacation and sick leave accruals for the research academic unit employees

Adding the unit 18 Pay for Family Care and Bonding elements to the UCLA Geffen Academy K-12 instructors (ACGEFFEN) eligibility group

Updating the Pay For Family Care and Bonding logic to allow for future dated leaves when an employee has used all entitlements

Enhancing the review absence process (E-052) to include the following updates

  1. Display the accrual paid time off factor
  2. Update the calendar display to ascending order
  3. Display workers' compensation accrual adjustment on the adjustment column. 

Resolving sick reinstatement rules not applying when employees are rehired in a different year

Summary

Adding language on UCPath online to clarify steps for adding a dependent

Simplifying the calculation of percent time worked for the retirement deductions to UCRS (I-146) process

Creating a family member eligibility verification file to capture all newly enrolled dependents

Payroll & Compensation

Summary

Adding 2023 quarter-end off-cycle calendars

Resolving pay advice issues that includes:

  1. Correcting year to date totals when the pay advice is re-run
  2. Removing an overflow data page when there is no overflow data
  3. Resolving an issue with hour totals for current and year to date are not displaying consistently

Workforce Administration

Summary

Matching the employee disclosures (E-030) to the disclosure matrix

Ensuring the academic duration appointment fields is not carried over from one employee record on to another

Adding the end job automatically functionality to the contingent workers (CWR) smart HR templates

Removing the Individual Tax ID Number (ITIN) option from the smart HR and TAM transaction templates.
