BW PayPath Lockdown: Sep 7-10
To avoid delays in payroll processing, UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing Tuesday, September 7 at 5PM, through Friday, September 10, 6AM.

Academic Apprentice Personnel Policy Training: 9/1
Graduate Division will host an Academic Apprentice Personnel Policy Training on Wednesday, September 1, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. This clinic will cover the interpretation and application of Academic Student Employees (ASE) and Graduate Student Researchers (GSR) personnel policies.

WFA Staff Policy & Procedures – Compensation: 9/15
Campus Human Resources (CHR) offers this course which provides an overview of the Staff Policies, Procedures and Practices as it relates to compensation. Touching on key concepts, it will help UCPath Preparers/Submitters and other HR professionals better understand guidelines for processing transactions.
This is not a course on how to utilize UCPath, rather a grounding on what should be known to respond to inquiries and ensure compliance. The course will also cover what preparers need to know about overtime calculations and FLSA. Click the button below to register:

WFA Staff Policy & Procedures: 9/16
As initiators and approvers it is important that the data you enter on employees' records in UCPath is accurate and in conformance with UC Policies, Procedures, and applicable State Laws. This course will include information regarding Staff Programs and Employee Groups.
The Personnel program structure, employee classes and definitions, policy terminology and concepts, employee relations codes as well as employee groups which includes vacation eligibility, sick leave and (PTO -presented by Health Systems). Additional concepts will be covered throughout the full day course.

Anticipated High Call Volume: Aug 30-31
After the (9/1) paychecks are visible to BW and MO employees online, UCPath Employee Services is anticipating higher call volume on Monday, August 30 through Tuesday, August 31. This may result in case call wait times that are longer than usual.

On 8/23/2021, UCPC notified 157 UC employees regarding a long-term care insurance benefit for residents of the state of Washington.
UCPath Online Demonstrations
The UCPath Center offers UCPath online demonstrations to show how employees can use the portal for a variety of Employee Self-Service (ESS) tasks every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm (excluding university holidays.)

Since CRU's inception in June 2019, we have proudly resolved tens of thousands of cases. This vast amount of data has given us significant insight into our case lifecycle and provided answers to one very important question: When will my case be resolved?
We are thrilled to announce that CRU service-level agreements (SLAs) are in development and will be released in the near future. Additional details will be communicated leading up to the official SLA launch.
