PayPath Lockdown
MO: Feb 22-24 | BW: Feb 22-25
To avoid delays in payroll processing, UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing from Tuesday, February 22, 5PM, through Friday, February 25, 6AM.
- Refer to the UCPath Production Processing Schedule for start and stop times of the Pay Confirm.

W-2 Forms Accessibility
Some employees have reported issues with viewing blank or misaligned W-2 forms on UCPath. The UCPath Center (UCPC) recommends that users try a different web browser before opening a case in UCPath. For the best UCPath Online experience, use one of the following web browsers approved by UCPC:
- Google Chrome (Version 91)
- Firefox (Version 89)
- Microsoft Edge (Version 91)
- Safari (Version 14)
Note: Internet Explorer 11 is no longer a supported browser. UCPath online pages may appear blank or not fully load.
Complete by February 15
If applicable, refresh your status to claim exemption from withholding
The IRS requires employees to complete a new W-4 form each year if they are claiming exemption from tax withholding. Many employees are unaware of this requirement until their net pay is reduced by additional tax withholding in the new year. Please help your employees avoid this scenario by following the steps below:
What can you do?
- Run a CDW report to identify employees who claimed exemption from tax withholding in 2021. In CDW, search for Employees Claiming Tax Exemptions and then run it for your department.
- Remind your employees to log in to UCPath Online and make their selection by February 15.

On February 10, the UCPath Center requested that 54 UCLA Campus employees and 16 UCLA Medical Center employees update personal information to satisfy a UC Health Benefit vendor requirement. CRU/UCLA Payroll Partner will follow up with the affected employees. You may find a copy of this message on our website.
UCPath Online Demonstrations
The UCPath Center offers UCPath online demonstrations to show how employees can use the portal for a variety of Employee Self-Service (ESS) tasks every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm (excluding university holidays).
