BW PayPath Lockdown: December 14-17

To avoid delays in payroll processing, UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing from Tuesday, December 14, 5PM, through Friday, December 17, 6AM.

• Refer to the UCPath Production Processing Schedule for start and stop times of the Pay Confirm.

 

Important Changes to UCLA Payroll Processing Deadlines for December 2021

To accommodate the holiday campus closure, we have updated our mass pay file deadlines for the last two December 2021 pay periods. The new deadline is Friday, December 17.

• Please review the information in the article on our website to ensure that your files are submitted by the deadlines and that your employees are paid on time.

Central Resource Unit (CRU) 2021 Holiday Hours

CRU/UCLA Payroll Partner office will have limited operations and services December 20-22 and December 27-29 while UCLA observes Winter Holiday Closure December 18, 2021 - January 2, 2022.

UCPath Center (UCPC) Holiday Hours

The UCPath Center will be open on all weekdays throughout the 2021 winter curtailment period. The UCPC office will only be closed on holiday dates: December 25 and January 1.

Log in to UCPath online and select "Ask UCPath Center" to submit an online inquiry. Call the UCPath Center at (855) 982‐7284 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (PT), Monday through Friday

UCPath PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) update was completed successfully over the weekend. Please clear your browser cache and then log into UCPath to verify expected functionality.

  UCPath Changes and Enhancements December 3-9, 2021

  
  Paycheck Reminders:

  • Employees enrolled for medical coverage will notice January 2022 benefit premium deductions starting with the Dec. 8, 2021, paychecks if paid bi-weekly, and with the Jan. 3, 2022, paychecks if paid monthly.
  • Account-based plans, such as flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) are not collected in advance so these contributions will begin with Jan. 5, 2022, paychecks for employees paid bi-weekly and Feb. 1, 2022, paychecks for employees paid monthly.

  Job Record End Date Monitoring: Quarterly Reminder

  As of December 13, there were more than 17,000 jobs with an end date of December 31, 2021. ​​In order to avoid unintended job terminations, we recommend to do the following by December 16:

  1. Run the “Jobs with Approaching End Dates” CDW report (CDW navigation: Team Content > UCPath CDW > Workforce Administration > Jobs with Approaching End Dates Report).
  2. Review the pulled records to ensure the December 31, 2021, Expected Job Record End Dates are correct.
     • If errors are identified, initiate the appropriate transaction(s) to update the records (see “Job Record End Date Monitoring” article for instructions).
