UCPath Blackout | Friday, December 10 - Monday, December 13
While UCPath implements the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Upgrade, the UCPath system will be unavailable to all UC employees Friday, December 10, at 12pm until Monday, December 13, at 6am.
- During the outage, reports using UCPath data will only be current as of Friday, December 10. Data will be refreshed when the system is back online.
Tips: How to Prepare for the Outage
- View and print paystubs and W-2 prior to the outages if you will require copies of your pay statements.
- Get employment verifications in advance.
- Run reports that are based on UCPath data prior to each outage.

BW PayPath Lockdown: December 14-17
To avoid delays in payroll processing, UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing from Tuesday, December 14, 5PM, through Friday, December 17, 6AM.

Important Changes to UCLA Payroll Processing Deadlines for December 2021
To accommodate the holiday campus closure, we have updated our mass pay file deadlines for the last two December 2021 pay periods. The new deadline is Friday, December 17.
- Please review the information in the article on our website to ensure that your files are submitted by the deadlines and that your employees are paid on time.

Family Member Eligibility Verification - Notice of Unverified Dependents
On 12/2/2021, the UCPath Center sent notice to 50 UCLA employees and 29 UCLA Medical Center employees regarding the Family Member Eligibility Verification process with UC health benefits vendor, UnifyHR.

Case Surveys for UCPath Inquiries
Recently, the UCPath Center (UCPC) identified an issue where customer surveys were not distributed after UCPath case closures in November 2021. The issue has been resolved and the system is automatically sending surveys again. UCPC will manually send surveys to customers whose cases were closed November 10-29.
UCPath Online Demonstrations
The UCPath Center offers UCPath online demonstrations to show how employees can use the portal for a variety of Employee Self-Service (ESS) tasks every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm (excluding university holidays.)
