PayPath Lockdown
Biweekly: October 19-22 | Monthly: October 22-27
To avoid delays in payroll processing, UCPath Center will limit system functionality on specific pages during payroll processing from Tuesday, October 19, 5PM, through Wednesday, October 27, 6AM.
Refer to the UCPath Production Processing Schedule for start and stop times of the Pay Confirm.

EPSL for COVID-19 extended until Jun 30, 2022
In recognition of the many challenges UC employees continue to face, President Michael V. Drake, M.D., has approved an extension to the time allowed to use Emergency Paid Sick Leave (EPSL) — from Sept. 30, 2021, to June 30, 2022. For more details, please see this article on UCnet.
New Absence Management Reports
On 10/8/2021, new UCPath Cognos reports were released to help users determine PFCB and FFCRA entitlement hours available for non-full time employees. In addition, there is a new report to track PFCB usage by EARN code.

UCPath Alert: Phone Security Update

UCPath Job Aid: Complete the CSV File Templates for Mass Hires
On 10/1/2021, UCPath Center updated the job aid which provides instructions to populate the CSV File Templates for Mass Hires.
- Web course UCPC_PHCMWFA215 was retired, and we removed this course from the UCLA UC Learning Center/LMS instance.
- Some course content was incorporated into the job aid including “When to Use Mass Hires” and “When Not to Use Mass Hires.”.

UCPath Notice: 2022 Open Enrollment Dates
This year’s open enrollment period will start Thursday, Oct. 28, at 8 a.m. and end Friday, Nov. 19, at 5 p.m. Historically, that’s a change from our usual Open Enrollment deadline of the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
- UCPath will host open enrollment webinars starting at the end of October into November.

UCPath Online Demonstrations
The UCPath Center offers UCPath online demonstrations to show how employees can use the portal for a variety of Employee Self-Service (ESS) tasks every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm (excluding university holidays.)
