Two years ago we launched this weekly newsletter as a way to centralize and organize important communications on UCPath, Tracker, and other CRU news. Biweekly PayPath Blackout: July 13 - July 16
To avoid delays in payroll processing, please do not approve BW PayPath transactions Tuesday, July 13, 5PM through Friday, July 16, 6AM. For details, please see 2021 UCPath Production Processing Schedule.
Job Aid: Postdoc Job Setup - Payroll Components
The UCPath Center recently released a new job aid outlining the expected UCPath setups for various postdoc scenarios. UCLA's postdoc subject matter experts have reviewed the document and encourage initiators/approvers to reference it as needed. Any postdoc-related questions regarding the job aid should be directed to postdoc@grad.ucla.edu.
COMING SOON
CRU is partnering with UCLA Central Offices (CHR, APO, and HHR) to offer PFCB workshops designed with you in mind! These workshops will give you a high-level overview of PFCB and how to transact PFCB within UCPath for your respective employee populations. There will be 2 offerings in the upcoming weeks:
- Thursday, July 15, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Monday, July 19, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Please note that advanced registration is required. You may register for the workshops starting Monday, July 12.
Can't make it to a session?
Recordings will be added to CRU's website after the workshops have taken place, and additional PFCB resources can be found in this article on our website.

FYE 2021 Payroll Deadline:
Payroll (UCPath) Direct Retros
All Salary Cost Transfers that pertain to FY2021 must be approved in UCPath by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 6 in order to be included in the FINAL FY2021 SCT Batch process.
This is a firm cutoff. No journals will be processed after July 6, 5:00PM.

Settlement Agreement - Discretionary Lump Payment
UCPath sent a communication to a total of 53 employees regarding a settlement between the University of California and the Teamsters Local 2010. UCPath will issue a discretionary lump payment on or around 6/30/21 for Teamsters Grievance No. Or-CU-1357-17.
Request to Update Your Address
On 6/30/2021, UCPath sent a communication to 180 employees requesting action to remedy an issue with health benefits.
