UCLA Retro Pay Resources
As a reminder, we created two UCLA retro pay resources:
UCPath Retro Pay Triggers
- This quick reference guide explains retroactive pay in UCPath and identifies the fields in a PayPath transaction that trigger retro pay when a retroactive effective date is entered.
UCPath Retro Pay Reports
- This quick reference guide (QRG) explains the two UCPath retroactive pay reports: Retro Results Report and Loaded Retro Trans Report.
- The QRG identifies the frequency and purpose of each report, as well as the method for reporting retro pay discrepancies to the UCPath Center.

The UCPath Training Team created two new Job Aids
Payroll (PAYL200: Additional Compensation and Payroll Requests):

- This new Job Aid details the E-330 process and replaces the following:

- Submit Recurring Additional Pay Request UPK Simulation

- Details the dates you use to retire Academics, who retire ‘mid-term’.
Year-end Tax Reminders
There are some important reminders and tax updates for employees to know ahead of January deadlines:
- Make sure employees’ personal information and tax withholding details are correct in UCPath so W-2 and 1095-C forms are accurate.
- Encourage employees to consider opting out of paper delivery for their tax forms if they haven’t already.
- Review upcoming changes to 2026 benefits and health plan premiums.
- Note the increased IRS retirement contribution limits for the new year.
- Follow UC’s security tips to help protect their tax documents and personal data.
