SCT Processing Schedule
UCPath launched the Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) tool to improve the process of moving salary expenses between unrestricted, restricted, and work study funds. This tool is used for earnings that:
- occur after November 2023
- occurred from October 2021 and November 2023 and have not previously been processed through Direct Retro
Use Tab 1 of the SCT / Direct Retro Processing Calendar to identify the deadlines for SCT approvals in order for them to appear on the Labor Ledger and the UCLA General Ledger and when you can expect to see the approved transactions in the ledgers.

Direct Retro Processing Schedule
The Direct Retro functionality was phased out by UCPath and fully replaced by the SCT tool. Direct Retro functionality was used for transactions that occurred from October 2021 and November 2023, which have previously been processed through Direct Retro.
The Direct Retro processing schedule is different than the SCT processing schedule and occurs monthly. Use Tab 2 of the SCT / Direct Retro Processing Calendar to identify the associated deadlines and expected ledger dates.
The last day to submit and approve transactions through Direct Retro was July 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. (PT).
