New Fidelity 403(b) Loan Repayment Process
As of April 2026, the process for repaying Fidelity 403(b) loans changed. UC will no longer deduct loan repayments from employee paychecks.
Employees must make repayments directly to Fidelity through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) service, which withdraws payments from an employee’s personal bank account.
Employees who currently have an outstanding 403(b) loan will need to take action between April 13 and May 20, 2026, to establish ACH repayments through Fidelity to ensure payments continue without interruption.

New UCPath Contact Option
UCPath has added a new emergency contact option, “Contact if Detained/Arrested,” allowing employees to specify who should be notified in that situation.
This update supports employees’ notification preferences and aligns with the California Workplace – Know Your Rights guidance. The option is available in Employee Self Service under Emergency Contacts, and while no action is required from locations, employees may have questions and are encouraged to review and update their information.
